At this writing, I am on the steps of the Coleman Library on the campus of Florida A & M University in Tallahassee, Florida.. I will be speaking in a couple of churches in the area on Sunday.
I am writing this letter from the beautiful F.W. Bluford Library on the historically black North Carolina A & T University in Greensboro, North Carolina. I am in town for a special meeting that I am to speak at in a local church. But my being here in this particular library is quite fitting since in this letter I wish to encourage you to get a good education.
This letter will be quite different from my previous letters in that I will not deal with the spiritual aspect of life, but rather the mental aspect of life.
First of all, may I kindly encourage you to spend as much time as you possibly can reading?
If you have applied what I have shared with you in the previous six letters, you are on the right track to a genuinely successful and fulfilling life. In this letter, I want to talk with you about "pulling others out of the fire."
I trust that you have been doing well since my last letter. Today, I am writing this letter from the law library at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. By the way, I just had a long and interesting conversation with a young black man who is a law student here.
At this writing, I am sitting in my vehicle in front of a United Parcel Service office in Hamden, Connecticut, waiting for them to open so that I can pick up an important package.
