MISTAKES INVOLVING GIVING
People make several mistakes in the area of giving, but the biggest is the lack of tithing. I am not speaking here legalistically of tithing 10%; what I mean is giving to God first from your income in recognition of His ownership--whether it's 10%, 12%, or 20%. The key is that it comes off the top in recognition that God is the source and owner of all you have. It's not that 10% is "God's part" and the rest is "your part." It's all His.
